Check is a journey from the figurative to the abstract. The project starts from the digital implementation of traditional decor broken-down into pixels. After a desaturation of color, the design transforms itself through a theoretical approach to the point, the knot that creates the rug. The initial design loses its form to become an abstract image. Developing this approach, the result becomes more and more abstract. The pile is lost in a repetitive geometric decoration, which generates a completely new autonomous design forming a series of gigantic pixels, each one independent in the new configuration and composition of the rug.
