Giudecca carpet designed by Zanellato/Bortotto for Signature Collection of CC-Tapis is completely handknotted with Himalayan wool and pure silk.

Inspired by a venetian flight of stairs, the idea came to reinterpret the iconic design of the steps covered by the lagoon.
Different tones of grey which have been knotted in Himalayan wool create the stone steps, marked by salt and the effects of time. The sea and the vibrations of the waves are transformed into a shimmering silk surface where tones of blue and green radiate together. 

Venice and its magical atmosphere are represented into a new contemporary vision through a rug completely knotted by hand in Nepal.
